Knowing you’re in danger is the 1st step to evacuation.

The National Weather Service issues fire weather alerts, called Red Flag Watches, before fire weather arrives. They issue Red Flag Warnings when weather arrives or is expected to arrive soon.

Sign-up for CodeRED alerts to landline, cell phone, text, or email
Use NOAA weather radio with alert sound in case of poor cell service, no power, or cell towers going out. They are great in disasters.
